For twenty-five years, the Acadia Friends Peace Award has recognized a graduating Mt. Desert Island High School senior who demonstrates peaceful resolution of conflict in school or community, creates support of an inclusive atmosphere, and/or contributes to local, national or international efforts to promote understanding and peace.
